Stop by to grab your morning coffee and pastries. Swing by for a lunchtime bite with a freshly squeezed juice. Indulge with afternoon tea and cakes or shopping after your evening meal. All of this and more is available at Slice Jinqiao, the design-driven delicatessen created by chef David Laris. The image behind Slice’s design concept is that of a Chinese jewelry box - the space is divided into three distinct “boxes”.

Chinese wooden screens were designed to envelop a room and filter natural light. The design by NHDRO seeks to use the idea of an old-fashioned marketplace with a dramatic double height circular space; all the fresh produce is lined up in a way that creates the exciting experience of a market. Eating at Slice recalls the experience of tasting produce in a market - everything is fresh, and chosen with discrimination and refinement.

The sourdough mozzarella melt with roasted tomatoes, peppers and rosemary (RMB50) is made with real homemade sourdough bread. It is part of the gourmet “melts” selection, a deli-style alternative to pizza. It is served drizzled on a rustic bread board, popular as a snack or to share with friends. The cheese board, called Say Cheese (RMB120), consists of selections of imported cheeses served with traditional accompaniments of roasted nuts, crackers, fruit and homemade relish. In Slice, enjoy some real food.
